Sections and subsections

To accommodate different workflows, we're introducing Subsections!
You already had Sections, previously named _Group by, _and now we're adding a second level of grouping 🥳
On top of that, we now support no grouping at all on Assigned and smart lists. This can help you prioritize tasks by reordering them across lists!

We heard your feedback and added descriptions to new task forms 😇

Choose how you display attributes

If you change task attributes a lot, you might like this feature a lot.
You can now configure how attributes show up in a task: as a modal or as a sidebar.

Insert task shortcut

Adding tasks got a bunch faster! We added an Insert task action, that creates a new task below the selected task.
You can find it by right-clicking a task, in Command, or by using its shortcut alt+enter.

Improvements

• Added "Subscribe/Unsubscribe" to the right-click menu on tasks.
• Better task previews in Command with a checkbox and the list.
• Display more of the description when not expanded so we have a better idea on what a task is about without the need to expand the description.
• Change the way the sidebar works
• Lists are now automatically added to the sidebar when opened
• Changed the star icon to a close icon on the sidebar lists
• Improved notifications when editing messages
• Tasks now stay in their section until they're not being edited anymore. This improves the user experience when editing multiple attributes of a task.
• Improved our API to increase speed when using date filters.
• Added description to POST /tasks endpoint.
• Added commands to open task forms.
• Added confirm modal when canceling a new task.
